BEAR Down!!!!!

We headed downtown on Saturday afternoon, got the girls bundled in their bears gear and started our journey to the game! We couldn't tell them we were going to see the bears...that scared them. But when we told them we were going to watch football...they were EXCITED!

My cute bears fans walking on Michigan Avenue.

We got on a double decker bus, and headed to Navy Pier.
The girls loved the bus ride, and looking around at all the sites.

Then we got on a boat and made our way to Solider Field.

Such a BEAUTIFUL ride!!

Just a little chilly!

Greg explaining a few things to the girls about what they are going to see.
From the start...

we knew things were going to be better than last year. The girls started cheering and yelling and clapping right away. It was SO cute!
We kept them eating and they did great! And lucky for us, everyone around us thought they were cute. That helped us buy a little time too!!
They were afraid of Staley at first, but by the time he left, they LOVED him! We got up and went and ran around with the other TONS of kids who were bored by this time.
Yes, Isabel has her shirt off here. She has a mind of her own right now and we have to pick our battles with her, and this was one I did not care about winning.
So shirtless she went for a while! Sweet little thing.
We watched some great bear drummers before we left. Even though it doesn't look like it, the girls loved them. It was loud, which explains why Grace had to plug her ears. But as with everything else we did that night, when the drums ended, they wanted "more!!"
This guy took us back downtown. What a fun ride. Isabel loved it, even though I didn't get her in the picture below. And Grace, well as you can tell by her face, she didn't love it until we were done, and then she wanted "MORE!!"

We got back with two VERY tired girls, we had a pizza party and watched the end of the game.
Can you tell how tired they were??? Totally in a TV zone!
Then, finally... sweet, sweet girls.
Such a fun filled afternoon/evening, and how lucky that we were able to do it, and even more lucky that we could do it as a family!!! Greg and I were so proud of the girls and how well behaved they were for our whole fun adventure!
And the bears even played well!! Even made the evening better!!
GO BEARS!
