Disney on Ice!

We took the girls to see Disney on Ice on Friday night. And what fun we all had!!!!

We went out to dinner before the show. Can you tell how excited the girls were!!!!

I LOVE this picture of sweet Isabel. It was right when they came out on the ice. I was holding Graces hand, and sweet Iz just had her had Greg's leg.

Such a fun night for all of us. It is always so magical to watch the wonder and innocence when we do things like this with the girls. They have been dreaming about princesses since we saw the show so they tell us. Very sweet.

first haircuts!

well, we finally did it. the girls hair was needing a cut. it has started going a little wilde the past few weeks, they have developed this CRAZY curl on the top of their heads, in addition to the curls they already have. it was getting stringy and hurting them a little too much when we tried to fix it. so i was going in for a cut/color, so my awsome hair girl said bring them along!! so thats what we did.

well isabel, thought this hair cutting thing was made for her. she LOVED it!! loved getting her hair washed. she held greg's hand while it was washed.

so it made me a little more sad than i thought it would. another first done :( these girls are just getting too big too fast!!!

they have a cute cut, it is much easier to comb through, but the crazy curl...well it is still there. makes me a little nervous. the only way i can seem to "style" the curl it is to blow dry it. of course isabel loves it, grace not so much, and me, well i don't know if i am ready to blow dry my TWO two year olds hair yet! they can just look like wild women a little longer! :)

my brother

Today my brother was ordained as a minister. What an amazing experience to be a part of!!! Your hard work, dedication, devotion, example, and amazing faith...you have come a LONG way. And you DO have an amazing gift Doug. I can't wait to see how you and Britt use it in the days, weeks and years to come.

You have made my heart happy, made me cry, and made me one VERY proud sister today.

stores

this is just so i remember...
we were talking about shopping and which stores we liked. isabel said "my favorite cosco! me like hot gog and pezza" (costco). grace said "my favorite taaget!" (target). and as we leave she says "we be back soon taaget!" can you tell where we spend a lot of time! maybe too much!

Last week...

the girls and I spent the week at my parents. we were all a little sick, with some nasty colds! So we didn't do a whole lot, but watched it snow and snow and snow some more! it was SO pretty!!

we ventured outside with the girls just once, but there was so much we couldn't go too far!

thanks dad and mom for taking such good care of us. there's nothing better than having your parents take care of you even when you are old like me!

New Years Eve!

Greg had to work on New Year's eve, so the girls and I joined him, just like we did last year. We went to a little party (which the girls were NOT big fans of at the beginning!!!) with some other people he works with and had a good time, nothing crazy, but I was with my most favorite three people, which is all I could have asked for to ring in the new year!!!

WOW have things changed since having kids! Our entertainment this new years was TRYING to get a good picture! But all in all it was a fun night.

We woke up the next morning ready to go! Sunny skies and VERY cold temperatures and a beautiful view. The girls insisted upon going BACK to the party! They were very sad when they found out the party was over.
