Beautiful Fall Day!

We headed downtown to enjoy the beautiful weather today. We went to the Chicago Gourmet Festival and had a great time. We had lots of good food and drinks. And as always, the girls enjoyed themselves!

Concentrating VERY hard, trying to buckle their babies in the stroller.

Yep, Isabel took her shirt off again. She gets hot and takes it off, she even tried for her pants, but we had to put a stop to that! Sweet little girl enjoying her snacks...no gourmet food for her!

As you can see from these pictures we LOVE jewels of any kind around here. And it is the best when they are all on at the same time!!! Great way to practice sharing which is not always easy around here!! But we are working on it!

The girls LOVE reading (and talking...NON STOP!!!!!) these days! It is nice to see that they are actually "getting" some things we do over and over again with them, like reading and telling stories! As you can see from the video below, they are HUGE story tellers and like to read to each other, and to us. Yes, it is VERY hard to understand them (though they TOTALLY understand each other!!), we realize that, but they are just so sweet I wanted to share!

Kiddieland with Grace and Isabel!

For those of you who live in the area, you have probably heard of Kiddieland. It is a great little amusment park just outside the city that has been around for 80+ years. But it will close next month. Greg went when he was a little boy, so we decided we should give him one more chance to ride the rides and have some fun. And what fun we had!!!!! The girls LOVED every minute of it!!! Which of course means, Greg and I LOVED each minute even more than they did just watching them!!!

Isabel and I on the cars...we waited and waited and waited to ride these, but they were determined to drive, so drive they did. And of course loved it!!

BIG girls riding alone!!! Brought a little tear to my eye (yep, I am pathetic!), but they looked SO big!!! And it was SO cute, they would only ride on rides they could be together on. There were some that had individual cars, and they would say no to those.

Greg and Isabel...a little more comforatable on this ride...going fast and having fun!

And Grace...she and I were a little more nervous, but as with most things Grace does, the ride ended and she wanted "MORE!!!!"

And a video of their first ride...it is loud, lots of dinging of the bells. But SO sweet of them!!

We did decide though, it would have been MUCH more funny to get a video of Greg and I as they rode their first ride..."Do you think they are okay?" "Hi girls!! Hi Grace!! Hi Izz!" "Are they okay?!?!" "Girls we are over here!" "Hi girls!!" "What if they fall in!" "Hi girls!"...the whole ride.

Some Random Cuteness From Last Month!!!!

The girls and I went to the beach (on ONE of the few warm days!) a few weeks ago with a good friend and her twin girls. Unfortunatly I didn't get a good picture of all the girls. It was hard watching them all play and trying to take pictures at the same time. But it was a fun time!!! And the girls loved seeing their friends!!!
