We are changing blog site again as we have almost hit our maximum space allowance! Also, we have decided to make our blog private, so email us if you want to continue to follow us!! I have been meaning to do this for some time, but haven't gotten around to it...and after my facebook was hacked and pictures of the girls were taken off...we decided it was time. There are just too many crazy people out there that don't need to know about our lives...so friends and family from near or far...please email us so we can give you access!

Thanksgiving!
We headed to Omaha, Nebraska for Thanksgiving. My parents, Doug and Britt, Greg, the girls and I all headed Laura and Doug's way to celebrate the holiday. We hadn't ALL been together for a holiday in a VERY long time, so it was good to be with my family and have some good quailty time with them. And we hadn't seen Doug and Laura's new house yet, so it was a great to see it!! Perfect for them. And made me have house envy even more than I already do!!
Not the best picture taking I have ever done...

i'm thankful for...
Last week, the girls and I made very fancy turkeys and each day before Thanksgiving I asked them what they were thankful for. I wrote down the first thing out of their mouth, and then we talked about how it is important to be thankful for what we have since other people don't have everything we do! Oh the conversations we had!

Disney Day!
Yesterday was the Festival of Lights parade on Michigan Avenue, and we were lucky enough to be there to watch it!! We started our morning yesterday having breakfast with the Disney characters. I asked the girls what they wanted to wear, thinking it would be a dress...however was I wrong. Their princess outfits is what they BOTH said. So that is what they wore, and they were perfect!! The castle was there for us upon our arrival. So the girls had to cheese it up a little before we ate.

Then the characters arrived! We went last year and the girls were beyond terrified of all of them, though they really had never seen any of the characters. This past year, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse has become a huge hit at our house. Minney and Daisy are often in the girls strollers going for rides. Needless to say, we were ready this year...

well, Isabel was ready!! She was SO excited!!!! Grace...she talked a big talk about how she was going to hug and talk to all the characters, but she was "very scary!" as she put it!

but not "scary" enough to NOT give Daisy Duck a hug!! It was SO sweet!!! But that was the last of the hugs from Grace...

Isabel, she couldn't get enough!! She wanted to see them all, and talk to them!!

and hold their hands...

and give hugs...she LOVED Chip and Dale!
We headed back downtown for the parade...

Grace. SUCH a cheeze ball with her smiles these days!!!!

And Isabel. Poor girl has had such a bad cold for so LONG. She looks more miserable that she actually is here though!

A huge firework show...

And we headed home. A VERY cold night, but we were lucky enough to have seats (thanks to Greg's boss!!!!!!) which made it all that much better. Both girls said their favorite part was Tangled up and Santa.
